wtf?
Ok, so that was interesting…… Where to begin? The performance was an amazing visual experience that most people don’t expect when going to a “theatre production.” I thought that it was a very original and unique approach to the way in which one can present a story to an audience. I think it is impressive further more due to the fact that it is something that young people who have a little appreciation (due to not so pleasing steriotypes of big busted opera singers in Viking armor) or experience with theatre may enjoy.
Personally, I found the character interactions somewhat easy to interpret (so i think..) even though the story line wasn’t so clear. I also didn’t like how i was rather distracted at some points because i was trying (with some success) to see the stage people in the back moving the props.
Other than that, the performace was rather incredible. It is definately a show i don’t regret seeing. I only wish i had known more about the story before going into see it….

I totoally agree I had the same problem, and yeah at points I was like what is that?
Common theme. See my post later.
After reading several blogs (and comments left on mine), I think that the story line is up to your interpretation. Not any two people will experience anything exactly the same… so, we should all walk away from every thing we do here with questions and opinions. You commented on my blog about, did she really die?? Well, yes- to me anyway. I saw that as a way to the end. He stopped being in control and he was losing her. So, he ended her. He would rather live without her knowing no one else gets her either… that’s my thoughts on it anyway
I agree. I think it is all up to self interpretation. The show is called ASPECTS of alice. That means bits and pieces of her story. The alice and wonder land movie is what most people know so they try to relate the show to the movie. The movie itself is a bit looses themed, and jumps around alot to differnt things. So I think it only natural that the play would be the same. A bit scitzo you know. There where is no theme. It a dream, a fantasi, an imaginary world of wonder.
I personaly did not find it hard to follow, because it don’t think there was anything to follow.
