A Walk Worthwhile – Narodni Divadlo (National Theatre), 25.June

On the 25th of June we will be attending a performance of a musical called A Walk Worthwhile at the iconic Narodni Divadlo (National Theatre). Curtain is at 7:00p.

I know very little about this musical, but I know that it was directed by famous Czech director and Academy Award winner Miloš Forman. I am sure you will hear more about Mr. Forman in one of the Film classes. You probably have seen one of his films (Amadeus, which was filmed in Prague and based on the wonderful Peter Shaffer play of the same name, is a must!). He is joined in this production by his twin sons Petr (directing with his father) and Matěj (scenography), accomplished theatre practitioners in their own right. The production is in Czech, but don’t worry, there are English and German subtitles.
