Black Light Theatre Experience

Due to a handful of unforeseeable factors, we had to cut a show from the “paid for” list for the Theatre program. Unfortunately, this was the Black Light Theatre performance. It was a decision made with a heavy heart. This does not mean you are not able to see a Black Light show. In fact, you have to. I am requiring you to see at least one Black Light production that you’ll have to foot the bill for. I tried to avoid this, but due to the rising prices in Prague and a little miscommunication, it was the only way to make sure you have this amazing opportunity. Truthfully, it may be the performance you enjoy the most.

Black Light Theatre is a very Czech experience. While it uses theatre “tricks” known to any seasoned veteran of stagecraft, the Czech version focuses on these tricks and the productions revolve around this “theatre magic”. Where conventional theatre will employ a “trick” to illustrate something in the text, Black Light Theatre creates scripts around the “tricks”.

I had planned for us to se Ta Fantastika’s Aspects of Alice, an Alice in Wonderland based show. I will post links to this and other options for your Black Light performance.
